X-Mas Time

So it is almost X-Mas....lovely....I hate this time of the year. I realized yesterday that I haven't been truly excited about X-Mas for many many years. It just makes me realize what I do not have.....I see all my friends happy.....

I would be tons happier if we could skip X-Mas entirely, but still get the time off.

Yeah I am moody lately....always happenes this time of year...whether or not I am on happy pills.

I just wish.....

What I wish for is too personal to put on here.

So I have been out of the AF for almost 3 months now......I have to say it was very very tough being without a job after I got so used to having a paycheck.

I am finally starting to get caught up on the bills.

I found a job working as a contractor for Sprint....the pay is awesome.

So after the Cc was relieved I was offered another chance and I turned them down. I am just tired of all the BS and just can't handle another 3-6 months of more BS.

On a good note my terminal was approved to start 1 June. So my actual last day in the USAF is 17 june. WOOHOOOO!!!

Otherwise everything is just peachy.....I hope to go out and fish for a cobia.....i would love to get one of those.

As of 0830 16 April 2007 my Commander Lt Col. ****** was relieved of Command. Still no idea if this will help me or not.

Looking like they still want me gone and it looks like I will be screwed out of a few weeks too.

Originally I thought I could start my terminal on 1 June, but it looks like they want me gone completly on 1 June. So I might be leaving nearly 3 weeks sooner then I thought.....

Da Bird

went fishing this weekend and didn't catch anything but a sunburn and a cold

But I did do a first for me....

As I was casting out I noticed a bird in the cast path and I had already released, well I actually hit a bird in mid-flight....it was awesome and very funny. The bait hit the bird and not the 3 oz sinker I was using. The bird was just fine, just a bit startled and rather pissed.

Jerked around

Well it is nearly April and I still have not heard when my final day in the AF is. The rumor mill says 1 May 2007, I am pushing for 1 June 2007, but I do not have a clue. I cannot get a straight answer out of anyone.

On a lighter note my paperwork has been submitted to the VA so I should hear something in the next 2-3 months.

Otherwise I am just fishing and waiting......it is amazingly but what little initiative I had for my job has disappeared, I don't even give a rat-shit anymore. I physically have to force myself to come to work every morning......this being jerked around is driving me more nuts.
